Without the idea there would never have been a Yellow Sub play centre but without our team, there would be nothing.
Some of you (who have been here before) may recognise their faces however I think it’s only right that they get a special mention here because without their efforts – life could be a boring place.
Manager

Although his name sounds posh, he’s really not. Chilled out and loved by the children, Ashley is our head receptionist who is a pleasure to be around. A great receptionist party host and no. 1 Barista (haha)...
Supervisor
Becky - She’s the quiet red head (although she likes to think it’s strawberry blonde). Becky keeps her head down and “gets on with it”. Becky is also know to have a sweet tooth as she’s often seen sneaking into the staff room with a millionaire slice (or two...)
Parties
She’s also a red head (who doesn’t think she’s a strawberry blonde) a great party supervisor and receptionist who’s just gone full-time with Yellow Sub and will be looking at developing a weekly activity program soon. Hopefully with the help of Josh, her brother who has just joined the team.
Chef
Our ever present Chef, Ian Grainger, joined us in December 2007. Ian’s dedication to “getting it right” has been instrumental in shaping the quality of the food here at Yellow Sub. Those yummy cakes and cookies were first baked (and then eaten) by Ian and his team and we have not looked back since.

Steven (commonly known as “Fongie”) has only been with us since May 2011 but boy what an impact. A whirlwind in the kitchen who’s not happy unless he’s sweating cobs. A perfectionist and well organized chef who also has a personality to match (sometimes).

Ste (known as Witter) - has been with us for a couple of years now and has mastered the art of baking and churning (he is also known for making the meanest poached eggs in Liverpool – so say all of us). Oh yes, he’s also the scouse who makes scouse.

Our newest chef is however not a stranger to Yellow Sub. Prior to joining he had his daughter’s party here on two occasions. He loved the food so much he thought he’d join the team and guess what, we allowed him – a master on the sarnie menu (sorry sandwiches) and chief hummus maker as well.
